Customer feedback brings new changes to the lodge

We’re always striving to provide a great experience for guests staying at the Red Tree Lodge, that’s why we constantly evaluate all customer feedback… and we’ve been listening. We’ve been making changes to the lodge to help make our guests stay more comfortable and enjoyable – here’s what we’ve been up to.

Our Economy rooms featured a smaller flat screen TV, double beds and dated furnishings, which gave us the ability to charge a lower rate. With the lower rate, we found that guests still weren’t enjoying their stay. All of our Economy rooms have now been replaced with Standard rooms, effectively removing all double beds from the hotel. These rooms now feature new carpet, newer furniture and a 32′ flat screen TV. In addition, many other rooms throughout the lodge have had mattresses replaced to offer maximum comfort to our guests.

We know how much our guests love a nice king room, that’s why we’ve added 2 more. Located on the 2nd floor, our king rooms feature a small sitting area, desk, Keurig coffee maker, king bed and private balcony where you can take in the gorgeous surrounding views. Our collection of We Share Our Toys is continuing to grow. Enjoy a movie with the family or friends in our Movie Theatre room – free of charge to all guests. Over the summer we’ve added 10+ titles, including family classics Hook, Jumanji and Shrek 2, as well as new favorites Fast & Furious 6 and Step Brothers. We’ve also added two new board games, including Twister Dance Moves and The Game of Life. Our games room now features a 42′ flat screen TV with cable, replacing the older style TV, as well as replacing the outdated couches with new ones. The games room has also been re-arranged to offer maximum space to enjoy foosball, pool, or darts. With the addition of two townie bikes, that brings the total to four for our guests to use – free of charge. A waiver must be signed and a helmet is provided.

Every room now has brand new pillows – each bed with four.

We’ve fixed the issue with both side doors and keys not working by installing completely new locks.
