The pet friendliness was above and beyond we have ever encountered.  Thank you for making George and us feel at home!  A+++

Extremely impressed with our booking.  We called 30 minutes away and the front desk gal went out of her way to help us.  Amazing customer service, we will totally return.

This is such a fun place to stay with a family, we loved the games room with the pool right beside it. We will spread the word! Made our dog feel special too. Loved it, we will be back!

Virginia W - May 2016 - Pet Friendly Standard Room

We stayed here for 10 nights in room 226 and loved it. The breakfast included Tim Horton’s muffins, a selection of fruit and also tea and coffee. We requested a balcony and received it, our balcony view was the backstreets but we didn’t mind, it was awesome when we woke up to it snowing and being able to go out and watch it on the balcony without leaving our room.

The lodge facilities were everything we needed. The boot and board room was large, heated and locked with a security code. The spa was fantastic after a long day snowboarding, movie room had comfy chairs and the laundry had free dryers (wash detergent was $1 ~ CHEAP)
The kitchen was great and had all the utensils needed.

Room facilities were also great, our shower pressure was great, room was large and the king bed was AMAZING. The coffee pod machine served adequate coffee and decaf if needed. I highly recommend this property and the customer service here is kind and hospitable.

Thanks guys for our memorable stay in Fernie.

Our room and Hotel was recently renovated with new carpet and paint. Bathrooms had nice new clean tubs. Hotel provided a continental breakfast with muffins, yougurt, fruit, coffee. Only stayed one night as were passing through but I would stay there again.

We were passing through Fernie on our way home to Calgary and we booked the Red Tree Lodge in line with Trip Advisor. When we checked in, the gal at the desk was quite friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Check in took about 5 minutes (from arrival to payment). We parked in back and went up to our room. The hotel is nothing fancy, you get in with an actual key (not a key card), which I like because they always work. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable! I was very happy. Food within walking distance, 7-11 was across the street. The hotel also had a pool, hot tub, pool table, other games, we didn’t use any of these so I can’t really review. They also have boot dryers and a bike lock-up if you need it. Great staff, clean rooms for a decent price. I would stay here again.

My fiance and I only stayed one night and we loved this quiet, clean, friendly lodge.

I chose this lodge because of the nice things everyone said about it on here. We weren’t disappointed and would stay again. The lady who greeted us after our 12 hour journey was informative and welcoming, which is always nice to run into after a long drive. We didn’t use the lodge to its full extent but I’m sure it’s great.

We stayed in the King suite and this made me want to reno my own bathroom to the full size tub!

Great stay and it suits Fernie’s welcoming people and nature.

The rooms were large and we took one with a balcony and view. For only $10/nt extra I think it was worth it. There is a big common kitchen to use with everything needed to make a meal. I like that there were games to use too.

In Fernie again and stayed at Red Tree Lodge for a night. This is our second visit and won’t be our last. Clean, affordable, very nice friendly staff. Great value. They are sincerely pet friendly …. leaving a special doggy treat bag in our room pre check in. Hot showers with great water pressure! Tasty coffee or tea and a fresh muffin, yogurt, and fruit to start the day. Perfect for a quick visit into beautiful Fernie. Thank you to the cheerful staff for a very nice stay.

Our group, the Association for Women Geoscientists, stayed at the Red Tree Lodge during a part of our Canadian Rockies Geology Field Trip. Our stay was amazing!! Because I did the lodging/meals etc., logistics, I was so thankful that Christine had all the room keys ready for us and then jumped right in and made dinner reservations for many of us. I have to say that this was one of our best lodging experiences during the trip, and I know that those of us that get back to Fernie will stay here. Thanks Christine, for making our stay great – you’re the best!!!
