The Sparwood Golf Club is located 15 minutes East of Fernie. Players of the Sparwood Golf Club experience incredible mountain wilderness, crisp fresh air and a great test of golf. This 18 hole course showcases tree lined fairways that offer spectacular elevation changes and world class vistas.
Hole #2, Powerline, is a short par 4 that demands accuracy. Hole #8, Myles Mile, a par 4 as well, will test the skills of any golfer. Be aware of the creek that may swallow your drive. FORE!
Bootleg Gap is a 27 hole course, located in Kimberley, BC (just over an hour drive from Fernie). This Les Furber designed facility features an 18 hole Championship course and a unique Recreational 9 hole course.
The par 34 Recreational nine-hole course features three par-threes, five par-fours and a 519-yard par five. Bootleg’s championship course combines some spacious driving holes with some tighter riverside holes where accuracy is at a premium. The “signature” hole is the 193 yard par-three 12th, which requires a tee shot usually affected by wind to a well protected, large undulated green situated 50 feet below. The 12th begins a thrilling three-hole stretch that rims the beautiful St. Mary River.
