The Red Tree Lodge thanks all of their guests for the last 7 years!

It started with a dream of a man wanting to operate his own ski touring company. With this dream brought the birth of Nonstop Ski & Snowboard and the purchase of the Cedar Lodge in 2007. The Cedar Lodge was then renovated completely to a functional year round hotel, now known as the Red Tree Lodge and the main hub for Nonstop clients every winter.

With the help of local sponsors and lots of time and planning, Wapiti has become a popular summer festival taking place right in our backyard! (Not really, but close enough.)

Stay at the Red Tree Lodge and mountain bike at Fernie Alpine Resort

Fernie have seen more sunshine in the last 2 weeks than all winter and to be honest no one is complaining! When the sun comes out, Fernie comes alive. You smell the neighbours delicious steak from Back Country Meats being BBQ'd. The streets become filled with residents riding their bicycles or walking their dogs. The biking trails start to lose their snow coverings and become tracked out once again by mountain bike enthusiasts. Summer is beginning to attract more and more visitors who slowly turn into residents and start to live by the saying "I came for the winter, but stayed for the summer".
