Epic snow conditions out on Fernie Alpine Resort today (Thursday 13th January), with the Ski Patrol working hard to open up all the bowls gradually to give everyone access to Fernie's deepest and driest powder this season!

Since arriving in Fernie, I have been struck by the incredible number of dogs in town and the warm welcome they seem to receive wherever they go. The Red Tree Lodge is no exception, we like to ensure that our pet-owning guests have all the facilities and information they need.
Today, Sunday 12th December, marked Fernie Alpine Resort’s sixth Community Appreciation Day, with residents from Fernie, Elko, Elkford, Jaffray, Sparwood, and the Elk Valley all taking advantage of fantastic free lift passes.
