The Red Tree Lodge is proud to announce our new art gallery launch entitled “Fall.” The pieces vary in form from acrylic paintings to photography and pencil art; all showcasing the talent of local artists.

Riders will be arriving in Fernie Saturday, August 15. After a week of racing through the Canadian Rockies Fernie is set to welcome them to the Finish Line. Red Tree Lodge is proud to be an accommodation sponsor for this exciting event. The Lodge might be full on the weekend but the Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

Heading to the mountains this long weekend? The weather has been unpredictable in the Kootenays this past week, but isn't it always in the mountains! Should the weather turn on you, Red Tree Lodge still has rooms available or if you just need a meal away from the campfire we have something for every appetite. Happy camping and long weekend!

The summer season kicks off this Saturday, June 27 at Fernie Alpine Resort. Elk Chair will operate Thursday through Sunday and holidays. The Timber Chair will operate Saturday, Sunday and holidays. The lifts are great for biking, hiking and sightseeing.

Reminder that it is coming up on Sunday June 21. Red Tree Lodge will be serving up a three-course Prime Rib dinner for that special dad. With the great weather, dining on the deck will be great way to enjoy the food! Reservations recommended.

Sunny days have arrived in Fernie. The bikes are out and people are hitting the hills. Be sure to end a fantastic day of biking or hiking with some great food on the outdoor deck at Red Tree Lodge. Dinner and Tapas are served daily from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Or make sure the gas gauge is full before you head out with a filling breakfast from the Weekend Brunch Menu available Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. See you outside!
