Just over 3 years ago, Chantel Souliere took the dream of Fernie having an outdoor music festival and brought it to reality. With the help of local sponsors and lots of time and planning, Wapiti has become a popular summer festival taking place right in our backyard! (Not really, but close enough.)
Showcasing what Canada has to offer, in this two day festival taking place August 9th – 10th, 2013 at the Annex Park. Conveniently located just 4 blocks from the Red Tree Lodge, Wapiti offers a gorgeous view of the Three Sisters and a variety of Indie music for all different age groups. This year’s line up includes Plants and Animals, Current Swell, Inlet Sound, Delhi 2 Dublin, Loon Choir, David Celia, No Sinner, Devon Coyote, Portage and Main, Good Ol’ Goats and Fernie’s own Shred Kelly!
